Silicon Valley Clean Water – RESCU Front of Plant

CID played a critical role in Silicon Valley Clean Water’s Front of Plant improvements as part of a 6-year, $580 million design-build program. As a key integration partner, CID participated in dozens of stakeholder workshops to help define and refine complex functional requirements, translating owner intent into actionable control strategies.

CID developed multiple tiers of documentation—including control narratives, functional descriptions, and test procedures—to ensure alignment across engineering disciplines and contractors. The project included a new receiving lift station, headworks improvements, screening, grit removal, odor control, and supporting process systems.

CID also developed an Ignition-based simulation platform that allowed the team to test PLC logic, review functionality with stakeholders, and support operator training well before commissioning.
