Nate Olson serves as Director of Engineering at CID, bringing more than 27 years of experience in SCADA systems integration and industrial automation across the water/wastewater, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.

In his leadership role, Nate oversees CID’s engineering and project delivery efforts, helping guide projects from early planning and estimating through design, implementation, commissioning, and long-term support. He works closely with clients and CID’s technical teams to develop practical solutions that balance system performance, reliability, maintainability, cybersecurity, and operational needs.

Nate also helps shape CID’s broader engineering practices through technical strategy, staff development, proposal support, and continuous improvement initiatives. He is actively involved in strengthening project delivery standards and advancing CID’s ISO 9001 quality management practices.
